A whole school, transformed in a weekend
Once a year, Project Makeover chooses one under-resourced elementary school and rebuilds its spaces with murals, gardens, and outdoor classrooms. Thousands of volunteers from our University of Florida and University of South Florida chapters show up for a single weekend and do not stop until the walls are painted and the gardens are planted.
Sponsors are the reason there is paint to buy, soil to move, and a Dream Project to build. Your name goes on a wall that a thousand people helped paint.

Murals
Every hallway can hold a bigger world. Sponsors fund the paint, brushes, and scaffolding that turn blank walls into murals kids walk past every single day.
Gardens and outdoor classrooms
Raised beds, shade, and a patch of ground reclaimed for growing things. Sponsors fund the lumber, soil, and plants that turn a field into an outdoor classroom.
The Dream Project
Each school picks one big, specific dream, the one the whole weekend builds toward, like this gaga ball pit. Sponsors fund whatever that dream costs to build.
The weekend itself
University students from UF and USF give up a weekend to make this happen. Sponsors cover what it costs to bring thousands of volunteers together to finish one school, together, in two days.

A thousand hands, one school, two days.
Friday the walls are bare. By Sunday afternoon there is a mural in the front hallway, a garden where there was dirt, and a Dream Project the whole school helped imagine. Every sponsor who steps in makes that Sunday possible.
